Art Class at The Art Room – Week 4: Mini Masterpieces (4th & 5th Grade) 🖼️🎨✨

This week, we’re stepping into the shoes of the greats! Students will explore art history and painting techniques by recreating a famous work of art on a smaller scale.

They can choose from celebrated artists like Van Gogh, Monet, Frida Kahlo, or others, then:
✨ Study the style and details of the original painting
✨ Sketch their own version, paying attention to shapes and proportions
✨ Use acrylic paints to layer colors and bring their mini masterpiece to life

Skills covered: observation, brush control, color mixing, and layering techniques.
