Art Class at The Art Room – Week 6: Going Wild – Spirit Animal Art (2nd & 3rd Grade) 🐯🎨✨

For our final week, we’re letting creativity run wild! Students will explore identity and self-expression by imagining: If I were an animal, what would I be?

Using mixed media—paper, canvas, paint, glitter, fabric scraps, and whatever fun materials we have on hand—students will design and create an artwork that brings their spirit animal to life.

Students will:
✨ Learn how animals can symbolize personality traits
✨ Experiment with layering and texture using mixed media
✨ Express themselves through bold colors, patterns, and details
